Using her powerful voice and innate humility as her major weapons, she conquered Israel and became the topic around the world after winning the first-ever X-Factor Israel singing contest, in the process bringing pride and honor not only to Filipinos in Israel but around the globe. The FFCI, as the umbrella organization of the Filipino community here in Israel, organized a tribute to give back the honor to our one and only Ms. Rose Fostanes.
It was not an ordinary gathering for the Filipino community because of the number of press people present- UNTV correspondent filmed the event, Haaretz, Philippine Channel 37, and of course Focal Magazine and MTA. There was a huge attendance of other nationalities and Israelis who also paid tribute and respect to our newest pride. Numerous VIP friends of the Filipino community were also present to witness the victorious gathering.
Daddy’s Cool Band where Ms. Fostanes was the band’s singer years back were among those who performed. Another Filipino pride in Israel, 2nd place winner in Beit Sefer LeMusika Ms. Kathleen Eligado, was also there to honor the unprecedented achievement of her fellow Filipino.
Tel Aviv Israel Pinoy (TLV IP) Kids Crew also did their share, so do Pinoy Pinay Club Talents Ms. Monique Avraham, Ms. Ritz Cortez, Mr. Jerry Meneses and Mr. Ran Montemayor who are all close friends of Ms. Fostanes. The evening’s affair was hosted by the energetic tandem of Mr. Albert Bambao and Ms. Anne Pramis.
