The fashion world should have seen it coming when Kate Moss had an anchor inked on her wrist. After that almost every celebrity sported unique tattoo trademarks…. there goes David Beckham, Rihanna, Scarlett Johansson, Angelina Jolie and even Kristen Stewart.
It’s no longer about the label of tough masculinity of working class men or prisoner psychopaths, people from all classes are getting inked. Tattooing is growing massively, and as it does, quality is too. Thanks to new technology, lasering can apparently wipe away old tattoos, albeit at some pain and expense, and update them to new styles and trends. It seems like nothing is forever in this world, so are tattoos. Old tattoos can be lasered off to make room for new, reworked stuff.

The newest trend is 3D tattoo art, the latest craze for someone who wants to go one step further than simply having a few tacky stars or Chinese symbols on their body. It’s meant to attract attention and create awareness and even illusion. The most remarkable one I have seen was one from a cancer survivor which definitely showed bravery and strength.
Well, someone asked me, should I consider having a tattoo in the future? It’s a definite yes. Just spare me with the pain.
