BaRaCo stands for Batangas Raging Colligation. It is so far the biggest organization of Filipinos here in Israel and one of the most active. Like all the other Filipino organizations here in Israel, Baraco is constantly making projects for a good cause. Recently, they celebrated their feast and at the same time held the coronation of Ms. Baraco–Israel (on its 2nd year), a fund-raising project aiming to help special school children in Batangas. Beautiful Batanguenias competed on stage and prior to that, they sold raffle tickets to accumulate funds. The biggest seller was crowned Ms. Baraco-Israel 2014. “The life you save” T-shirts were sold like hot cakes and the profit was donated to a sick baby named Enzo.

Baraco would like to thank Philippine Embassy Consul Mdm. Greg Marie Marino and Mr. Simi Salpeter for gracing the event, Baraco Haifa, Baraco Jerusalem – Mr. Winston Santos, Filipino Clickers in Israel, UFFI Kids (Marcus, Nikcolai, Eldad, George, Ford, Tawatchai, Alfie, Charles), Baraco Band (Gerald, Mac, Medz, Jovert) and all people who have contributed to the success of this project. Congratulations and mazal tov to Baraco especially to the President Mr. Rhandy Carandang and to all the winners…Mabuhay!
