Photography has become a passion for many in today’s modern era. Though not everyone can afford to purchase an expensive DSLR camera and its accompanying paraphernalia, many of our kababayans here in Israel are still into this habit and some even used it to earn extra income.

Pinoy Photography Society in Israel (PPSI) was created primarily to unite those passionate people in photography. Recently, they celebrated their 2nd year anniversary together with the induction of their new set of officers for the year 2013-2014. The event took place last October 26, 2013 at the Hayam Hasini Restaurant located at No. 3 Shenkar Arie St., Tel Aviv, Israel.

Our ever dynamic Philippine Ambassador to Israel HE Generoso D.G. Calonge graced the event and inducted the new PPSI officers.

I am very honored to have you all in our special night. I have faith that each and every one of you will emerge winners in all your undertakings. We may have different approaches, different interpretations and different opinions, but this is what a group is all about – loving and understanding for each and everyone. I hope and pray that you will continue to grow and prosper as one united group for ourselves and our kababayans in Israel, by helping people, touching lives, and learning more about your passion. Thank you for all your support, for your understanding and for your unending cooperation. From the bottom of our hearts, our sincerest gratitude to all of you!
