The Federation of Filipino Communities in Israel (FFCI), on its 12th year of continued service to the Filipinos in Israel, held its election of its new set of officers last April 20, 2014 from 11AM to 1PM at the Philippine Embassy conference room.
Among the official list of 34 affiliated organizations only 31 organization heads came in to cast vote during Election Day, exercising their right to choose the next set of officers.
The FFCI election was conducted by the election committee consisted of officials of the Philippines Embassy namely:
* Election Convener Vice Consul Ferdinand Flores & Labor Attaché Jimmy Gimenez
* Tabulators Cultural Attaché Teresita Reyes & Welfare Officer Alice Lim
*Election Inspector Vice Consul Bryan Jess Baguio
The election went on smoothly and orderly and the new set of officers were declared before 1pm.
The new FFCI officers for 2014-2015:
President – Mr. JOEFFREY OLAYAN (AIMWI)
Vice President – Mr. JAMES MANZON (UFFI)
Secretary – Mr. ELLON REYES (Triskelions Grand Fraternity/Sorority Nat’l Council)
Treasurer – Mr. RAMIL DIAZ (Candelarians)
Auditor – Mr. ERIK ESPINELLI (Cavitenians Pride)
Business Manager – Ms. LORETTA FERRAREZ (VISMIN)
PRO – Mr. JUAN ANDRES (Kasurog Bicol in Israel)
The oath-taking will be held during the Labor Day/Flores De Mayo celebration on 04 May 2014 at HaYarkon Park in front of the Philippine Embassy.
